The first of more than 20 "Experience Electric" ride-and-drive events brought the latest plug-in and hybrid cars to San Francisco's Marina Green. Bay Area residents eagerly got behind the wheel of a wide range of electric vehicle options. The initiative brings the models together in one location, saving buyers the hassle and time of hopping from showroom to showroom. "Experience Electric" is sponsored by a consortium of government agencies, including MTC, and EV promoters.
